Purple Team: Won = 35-14
Your EHS Football Purple Team won going away 35-14 on Thursday, Sept. 28th. The guys took a 27-6 lead into half. Each team traded a touchdown in the 2nd half as the Dogs cruised to victory.
DaVonte Biscoe scored on two TD runs of 55 and 2 yards. Trezon Myles had a 40 yard TD scamper while Eric Calamease and James Kay each scored on a 1 yard and 12 yard run.
Offensive standouts were Biscoe, Kay, and the offensive line. Defensive standouts were Jimmie Harrison, Eric Calamease, and Troyonne Simpson. Coach Gee and Little said, “We finally played like the Everman Bulldogs! Great Team Effort!!” On the season, the Purple Team is 2-2 with Arlington Seguin next.
White Team: Won = 28-6
The White Team had a battle at half up 14-6, but scored another 14 unanswered points in the 2nd half to take the victory 28-6. The guys shut out Cleburne in the final three quarters.
Chasmon Davis had a 75 and 18 yard TD run, a 35 yard interception return for a TD, and a 2 point conversion. Marcus Munoz also had a 2 point conversion and Xion Bruton completed the scoring off with a 60 yard TD run.
The offensive standout was Chasmon Davis and defensive standouts were Thompson, Sowels, Ambriz, and Dillard. Coach LeDeaux said that the “guys played with great effort!”
Black Team: Won = 55-0
Wrapping up the evening was a decisive victory for the Black Team shutting out Cleburne 55-0. The guys took a commanding lead into halftime 41-0 and added 2 touchdowns in the 4th quarter.
Scroing was a plenty with Remondo Hill catching two 45 and 63 yard TD passes from Nick Tate. He also had a 72 yard TD run. Cambryon Davis had a 12 yard TD run with the 2 point conversion added by a pass from Nick Tate to Chance Taylor. Chandler Stevenson had a 10 yard reception for a touchdown from Tate. The extra point was kicked by Villatoro. Quintin Norton bulldozed his way to a score with an 11 yard run with Villatoro once again kicking the extra point. Cambryon Davis had an 80 yard TD run with Tate running in from the 1 yard line also. Villatoro completed both extra points to finish the scoring.
Remondo Hill had an interception. Tomone Cook and Jaden Olds had fumble recoveries. The defense played great not giving up any points. Offensive standouts were Tate, Hill, Davis, and Quintin Norton. They also had no turnovers. Defensive standouts were David Cottrell and Zach Stubbs.
Coach Ocheskey said, “The guys had a good start to our district schedule. We are already looking forward to getting back to work next week.”
